I was disappointed that I was unable to attend on this beautiful and warm Sunday morning. I was stuck home, not feeling well and unable to be outside. Brendan Keogh and Gerry McGee were gracious enough to fill in for me. I knew there would be a big crowd but we never expected more than sixty people. The hope of seeing an owl always brings out people. That, combined with the balmy weather got everyone out. It was too bad that there were no owls to be found at the museum. Brendan and Gerry split up the large group and strategically walked the known owl locations. When the walk ended, they offered to show everyone a Great Horned Owl. So they drove over to see one on Hunter Island. From the emails I got, everyone went home happy.
